A launch event for the CityVoice project begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Road, 744 S. Main St. in South Bend. South Bend’s Code for America Fellows will unveil CityVoice, a call-in system to gather community feedback that will help guide South Bend’s vacant & abandoned property initiative. Come learn about the project and how you can make your opinions heard. RSVP at: gocityvoice.eventbrite.com. How does it work? First, look for the yard signs placed in front of selected South Bend properties. There’s likely to be one near you. Call the number you see on the sign, and enter the call-in code found below the phone number on the sign to share your insights.
You may also visit SouthBendVoices.com for more information and resources, and to join the conversation! The site includes audio clips of feedback provided by South Bend residents, as well as a message from Shubhada Kambli, Director of Code Enforcement for the City of South Bend.
